Ethical

All our products are produced under ethical standards. Animal welfare at its highest level means understanding the physical and psychological needs of animals, and then enacting practices that ensure the highest standards of care. This refers to all animals - both our livestock, as well as our native animals. Our staff all undertake training in animal welfare, and we constantly strive for not just good but exceptional. We aim to reflect this through everything we do. Part of this is through the active participation in accreditation programs, in particular, the Responsible Wool Standard and the Certified Humane.

We create our products from the beautiful wool grown on Coonong Station, in the  New South Wales Riverina.

Our wool is accredited by the Responsible Wool Certification (RWS), a European certification body that provides the highest welfare standards for sheep and wool.

The Certified Humane® means that the products come from farms where Humane Farm Animal Care’s precise, objective standards for the humane treatment of farm animals are implemented. We are the first property outside of the USA to be Certified Humane. HFAC is the leading non-profit certification organization dedicated to improving the lives of farm animals in food production from birth through slaughter. The goal of the program is to improve the lives of animals in agriculture.
